Justice of the Peace Serving in his second four-year term as a Justice of the Peace in Connecticut, Jon has presided over dozens of gay and straight weddings, renewals of vows, and was quoted in a front page article about gay weddings in an edition of the New York Times . His jurisdiction represents the entire state of Connecticut. He has performed weddings in Portuguese, French and Italian. Musician Jon Hunt is a talented musician who was trained classically in piano, organ and voice and has added popular music to his repertoire over the years. Active in the New York and Connecticut music scene, Jon performs as a singer, accompanist and conductor. For many years he was the pianist-in-residence at the Empire State Building each December, offering popular and holiday tunes on the piano. Teacher Jon is a voice teacher and piano teacher, working in his home in Old Greenwich, CT. He teaches both adults and children.
